Wild Turkey Wednesday

Good Morning!

Hope all of you are doing well this pre Thanksgiving Day.

DH is on the mend but not feeling great.  Luckily for us we are having Thanksgiving here and only his parents.   He took one Covid test and one Covid & Flu A/B test and both are negative so this is appearing to be just a cold.  I'm hoping to not catch anything.

Chiquito just received this year's Covid vaccine and I have an insane day of work and prep.  I'm hoping to keep my wits about me!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the knotties - I'm thankful for this community of smart, supportive ladies

Back at work today.  I called out sick yesterday bc the twins woke up with fevers.  They rested and hydrated all day and have been themselves since yesterday evening, so they went back to school today.  Hoping to eek through the day here, and I'm in a good place as far as cooking and baking for tomorrow.  In addition to the feast, I am looking forward a four-day weekend and Christmas-ifying the house.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Knotties.  This board has kept me sane for almost 20 years now!  That's crazy, y'all are some of the longest relationships I've had.  Thank you.

I ran to Aldi's this morning right when they opened, to grab more cheese and the fresh fruits we wanted for tomorrow.  I was in/out in 10 minutes, but it was getting more busy when I left.

I'm expecting to be busy today, b/c the bosses who are working are all, OMG we have a 4 day break and this is due!!!  I'm trying to keep a good attitude about it; my depression has been making me snappy and grumpy and I don't like that impression.  I'm really looking forward to this break.  Thanksgiving with Mom tomorrow, going to a good friend's house on Friday per tradition (PJs, leftovers, and movies), and another friend's on Saturday for Tarantino movie night.  We're prepping to see the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair next Thursday.  It's the Kill Bill series shown all at once.  It'll be good for me to get out with friends, I've been isolating too much.

ETA:  I have a friend who said they were adopting a dog.  I kept my mouth shut, but I knew this wouldn't work out. Thankfully, they've come to the same conclusion and doggo is going back to his foster.  I'm just glad they adopted from a rescue so that when it didn't work out, the dog has someplace to go back to.

Everyone stay warm and safe and have fun!
