I'm SO ready for the end of this week.  I've never really had a dental issue, even pulling my wisdom teeth went really easily.  This has been a journey.  It really does get a little better day by day, but it's just a little and I'm so ready for my face to stop aching.

So, work came back with they will require me to have my paralegal certification before offering the job.  Basically it means I'd have to do the certification process in the next 3-4 weeks.  I know I can, but it will be a huge push/commitment.  It's not like I have anything else taking up my time, so I'm not worried about that.  I've asked what the pay scale will be though.  I'm not going to make a push like that for less than a $10K bump, TBH.  B/c I'd have that push, the transfer into a new position with a new state and possibly new bosses to report to, so it's be a few pretty rough months all together.  $3K bump isn't worth all of that, when I can stick to my original plan of 6 months to do the certificate and wait for a position to come open.  And in a corporation, it frequently opens.  So, I'm waiting to hear back and we'll see from there.  I'm not in any hurry, I like what i do now.

Otherwise, SSDD.  This month seems to be slow and I'm enjoying it.

    Yeah it is going slowly. November went by quick. I’d be interested in knowing the outcome @VarunaTT. Do they pay for the certification classes or would either direction you take be on your dime anyway? Ouch to the mouth pain. I’m holding off on mine for that - and cost. I need 2nd opinions. 
    I had a great psychic reading. The lady I go to charges $160/half hour but she runs a cyber monday deal every year so I do my annual reading this time of year. She may do a new year special if anyone wants her info because my mind was blown yesterday. I have been secretly thinking about doing something/coming up with something that would take a lot of time and education which always stopped me. I have never said this thought outloud to anyone. She started off with “ok what questions do you have for me today? Oh wait. Your angels are very excited about something and are coming to me about a business venture or idea you have?”
    ummmm for real for real? I came to ask about my love life. LOL (or lackthereof. Haha). I was amazed she saw that. We talked about that, my family, my health and a bit about my mystery man in 2026, but she hasn’t really been spot on about the menfolk. Anyway, despite all that (maybe my walls are to thick to capture the love vibe from the spirit guides) she’s been very accurate about other stuff and recommended!

    Sort of in SSDD mode here.  The kids have musical rehearsal until 5 so I might do my weekly grocery shop right after work today, since my Saturday morning is going to be busy.

    @CharmedPam I am getting a tuition reimbursement with the course I'm taking and the course gives a student membership to the certification organization which gets me a cheaper test -- which work will also reimburse me for.  So the $$ isn't too much of an issue.  I've been reluctant to take the test cold b/c that would be pricey and then if I failed, I'm be out around $500, maybe a bit more?  There's a lot to line up too, with the testing.

    Weeks like this i'm annoyed that i can't WFH whenever I want. Just not overly busy but can't be as productive as i'd like since I have to be in the office. 

    Solo with the boys tonight while H is at a work event. Looking forward to it! We make sugar cookies last night so they could "practice" their cookies they want to leave for Santa. We'll frost them tonight, and obviously will need to sample them. It's quite cute when a 4 year old thinks he's pulling one over on you. I might make chocolate covered mandarin slices while they're frosting - one of my fave sweet treats this time of year! Will probably let them have a picnic in front of the TV and easy sandwiches for dinner. Bedtime has been a recurring struggle so fingers crossed they don't fight it too hard.

    In WFH today- H’s truck has a brake issue and it’s also cold and snowy. Baby J was coughing a ton last night so I could use a nap!

    @VarunaTT, Tooth pain is especially awful.  I hope it ends soon.  Crossing my fingers for you on a worthy pay bump, if you get your paralegal certification.  That is nice they'll reimburse you for the courses and the test itself.

    @Casadena, I agree with your sons.  Santa Claus has a busy night, so quality control for his snacks along the way is important, lol.

    I spent some time today skulking around the office for almost empty paper ream boxes.  I was able to snag 3, not too shabby.  I've always felt those are the BEST moving boxes for most things.  I once saw someone on a forum recommend hitting up convenience stores for liquor bottle boxes, because those are also strong and sturdy.
