  M is off this week for “winter break” so hes at track camp today through Thursday and H’s mom is coming on Friday. First day everyone got where they needed to be on time so that’s a good sign!

  Work is crazy busy.  We are combining three different teams/sites, and it's challenging.  My site is the mothership, so we are used to working collaboratively to get things done because to the number of folks we serve.  Other sites are much smaller and are used to getting assignments and just doing them without communicating with anyone else.  It's a big change.
  
  My birthday is on Friday. I'll work in the morning and then have my other cataract procedure in the afternoon.  We postponed a family celebration to March 1st so I didn't have to host with one eye. 
  
  Edited to add - Varuna has a birthday coming up, too.  Maybe next Monday?

  Went to the zoo yesterday and was the first time we did an activity like that with no stroller or wagon. I only had a small crossbody with snacks and it was incredible. Only had to do piggy back rides for about 10% of the time. Boys were both asleep by 7:20. 
  
  Other than that, mostly spent the weekend outside in the ~60 degree weather! Very much looking forward to real spring, it's my favorite season

  I hope your second procedure goes smoothly this week @MNNEBride and @charlotte989875 i'm glad everyone is where they're suppose to be and feeling relatively healthy!

  Scratchy throat and body aches here.  
  
  ....have kids they said!
  
  DH is still battling it and it's doing a # on him.  He's WFH yesterday and today and is napping as of 4 PM.   I could go for a nap but instead I'm pounding coffee and will order Chinese because I both don't want to cook and it's Lunar New Year.

  @MNNEBride you remembered my birthday better than I did!  Thank you, that's lovely.  It's the 26th (along with ReturnofKuus if anyone remembers an old school Knottie).  I completely forgot.  IDK what I'm doing, I'm not really feeling anything this year.  I'll be 49.  It's so wild to think I've lived half a century.  Sometimes I feel like, And THIS is how it all turned out?  16 year old Varuna would probably be pleased, but sometimes it doesn't feel like I've done enough.

  Give yourself grace @VarunaTT. You have done so much. You've been a fantastic friend, a great support system here, and you have done so much to advocate for your community. It's easy to feel like you should have done more when the world is a dumpster fire, but you have been growing and moving forward the whole time.
