  Today is my five year anniversary of filing for divorce.  The last couple years I felt kind of anxious and queasy around this time, since the horrible weeks (and months) that followed were so fresh.  But I feel 90% good this year.  It's really nice.  I guess enough time has passed?  So glad that I was able to make this change.
  
  Work should be fairly smooth, and a SSDD evening as well.

  5 years! It sure passes quickly, doesn’t it? Feb 24th 2020 is my liberation day. I miss the good times with the exH - but they never outweighed the bad.

  Tonight is a Gloria Estefan musical. I have to kill time from 5 to 7 for it, and i’m telling myself “Do not shop. Do not shop. Do not shop”.  Maybe I’ll take myself to a diner. This would be perfect book time but I don’t have one with me. Did anyone download the new iOS version on the iphone? I don’t like the picture storage, nor the tab browsing and finding and opening new tabs. I guess that’ll come with time.

  I am so dumb and I forgot I requested today and tomorrow off of work so I showed up and we were all confused. In my defense communication is 0% and I never even heard if I was approved or not. Oh well. I did a few hours and then headed home and I’ll work on continuing education as planned the rest of the day and for tomorrow. It works out perfectly though because I was able to move my nail appointment to tomorrow instead Saturday so now I won’t have to rush before our trip. We are going wine tasting at the local vineyards for my birthday and I’m ready for it!

  I'm in a fight at work with a wicked bitch from hell, so not exactly smooth sailing. My boss got laid off at the end of last year and our team is still in this weird limbo, and I really miss having her around to have someone with more authority have my back. (The bitch is about 3 levels above me but in a totally different department, so it's a challenge to stand my ground here.) 
  
  Not much else going on around here. It's been pouring all day and I think is going to continue for days.

  I'm back working on-site on Friday and for 3 days next week.  Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous for February in MN, but I'll be in a classroom without windows all day.  Hopefully, there will be some warmth and sun left when I'm on my way home.

  Surgery went well. I am handling the pain pretty well with DH keeping track of when I'm suppose to take what. I have been managing with Tylenol and Advil. I don't really like to take anything stronger unless I absolutely have to do so. I'm still walking gingerly and it hurts to sit from lying down but all and all not too bad for 2 days post op.
  
  Happy Birthday @VarunaTT. Enjoy your trip @levioosa. Glad y'all on the east coast are digging out. Our weather has been pretty good since we got back from Evanston. Today H and I walked around the cul de sac (to get me out and about). Hope you enjoyed the show @CharmedPam.
