    Phew, all those prudies from yesterday really reinforce my choice to be done with dating, at least until my kids are adults.  Too much nonsense when there are kids involved.  

    Pizza playdate later today with one of my sisters and her kids.  Swim meets both Saturday and Sunday, again.  Have some errands to run, which I'll squeeze into the usual cooking/cleaning/mass weekend flow.

    What is with my fb algorithm? It’s all people eating food. Not even fast food. Just food. Last night someone posted a monster fried mozza stick from Disney, and it’s literally all I could think of all night. 
    Super laid back weekend for me. Nothing really on the books but my car had a recall I had to take care of. I’m thinking of giving that Gloria Estefan play a 2nd chance since the reviews were so good. I had a lot going on in my head when I saw it, so my focus wan’t 100% but I don’t know, I really think I just didn’t like it! What if that’s also my second opinion?

    Busy weekend here. Parents are visiting and mostly entertaining the boys all weekend while we tackle house things. But both boys have swim lessons and multiple birthday parties. 

    Want to take a nap, but will be cleaning and checking email all afternoon!

    We had plans for tomorrow, but they have been canceled due to a COVID outbreak in DH's family. I'm sorry they are sick, but I love that we now have an open day.  I plan to do some crafting as I'm in a show at the end of the month.  I need to organize my display setup and make price signs.

    Sunday, I'm the worship leader, and then I plan to run a few errands.  I need to take some jewelry in for a warranty check and look at anniversary rings.  DH has always said he wanted to upgrade my engagement/wedding ring.  With our 20th anniversary this year, he'd like to do it for that.  I've looked online a bit, but would like to try some on before making a decision.

    I'm WFH today and am getting a start on laundry mountain.  Also, cleaning up my desk as it becomes a dumping ground, and I need the space to work tomorrow.

    It's been warm the past few days (50s), but we're expecting thunderstorms later today and snow next week.  

    We had medical appointments for DH yesterday.  Things are stable.  They adjusted his thyroid meds and changed his gout preventative script.  All in all, it went pretty well.

    Ladies, I am pooped!  The office has just been so dang busy for the last few months that I reach the end of the week exhausted.

    Nothing too much going on.  I'm building my first Technic build, which is just more technical and kind of engineering than regular LEGO.  Lots of small pins, joints, and gears to deal with.  It is fun, but it's been a big learning curve.  F1 is back.  I am seriously so happy about it, I need some escapism.  Everything else seems to be going okay, no big issues to report.

    I hope everyone is doing well.  I miss you guys and just chatting, but I barely have any time to switch over while at work.

    ETA:  Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes.  I appreciate it, very much.
