Weekend was busy but all nice things.  ExH even came over and took the kids out for a bit yesterday which was really nice for them.
This is a short week (we're off Friday) and it's also leading into spring break, and end of the quarter.  So it's definitely a wild week behavior-wise for all my students.
  • Scooting into today with a high as a UConn fan and BOTH teams are now headed to the Final Four!  The men had the lead for less than a second which made the win over hated rival Duke that much more sweet.

Sunday started with a sick Chiquito at 5 AM who in the bathroom told me, "I can't serve today."  Noted dude.  He's home today recovering and I"m crossing fingers that the rest of us remain unscathed.

I need to head to the doctor's office for forms so Chiquita can take medication with her on a trip.  There has to be a better way around this where my kid takes a prescription but now I need to pay the doctor's office to fill out a form that says that she's allowed to take the prescription that they are prescribing.  Ultimately it's going to cost me $25 plus gas for her to take ONE PILL.   Ugh.

    Oof what a PITA @banana468
pick me up off the floor @ei34

Weekend was great. Friday and Saturday saw some great comedy. Both restaurants/venues we ate at were HORRIBLE. One venue that does the comedy but requires 2 order minimum used to have a great menu and great food and it was worth eating there for the show but now it’s yuckers. Maybe our group will start doing the later shows and do dinner prior elsewhere and order a dessert and water (who wants a $17 small as heck alcoholic beverage when you can order a $7 bottle of water?).

Sunday was a bust. I started talking to someone on FB dating and we were to meet for donuts/coffee at 2. I did my research and searched him on the “are we dating the same guy?” Page. Nothing bad about him BUT this one girl who posted he kept on blowing her off last year. Ok. So that could be situational? I left my house at 1:10 for the 2:00 date and at 1:15 he sent me a message if we could move it back because they were taking his step dad to the hospital for breathing issues.
I said of course that would take priority and we could circle back later. I was already at the place when I read it. If it was someone else and I had no prior knowledge of this being a thing for him, I would have given him another chance as these things happen. I guess? But seeing the post about him doing it to another lady made me unmatch. I don’t have time for this.  AITAH?

  • Weekend was mostly good. H is finally feeling a little better. Saturday we did a civic duty and then I went out to lunch with SIL/BIL A. Sunday was pretty uneventful and I got to clean the house finally.

Otherwise SSDD. Bummer about the form @banana468 it sucks in both directions. Primaries drown in forms and for a long time it was completely unpaid, and hours of extra work per week, and it sucks for a patient to spend 1-2 hours for a simple form.

And I get it.  She takes a controlled substance so even for 1 day it needs to be documented.

The annoyance is I wish there was a way that  her prescription sufficed.  Without it she'll be an unfocused kiddo bouncing off the walls.  And it just feels like I'm throwing money at things so she can get the doctor's office to say that the medication that she's prescribed is it.  I'm not angry that precedent has been set but it seems....extra redudant.  Then again, as a medical provider you see way worse than this so I can shut up about $25.
  • @charlotte989875 I hope this surgery gives you all relief!

DD and family and DS2 left Sunday. We all had a good week (mostly) together. The boys enjoyed Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Saturday morning. They won't be interested in doing that for many more years. After everyone left, I got all the laundry washed and beds remade. I'm pretty well recovered from the hysterectomy and prolapse surgery. I have my followup this Thursday. Next week is the back surgery. My back is really giving me problems so I'm ready to get it over. I was really worried about how to get in and out of bed without bending. A friend of mine who had the same surgery in December came over yesterday and demonstrated. Much easier than I imagined so I'm not as anxious about that. The last thing I want to do is have the surgery and then move the wrong way to mess it all up!

I also haven't been sleeping well lately. Last night I finally got a decent night's sleep. I hope that continues!
