  Instagram just offered me the chance to alter my algorithm if I wanted.  Showed me that right now I'm getting mostly teacher humor, joy of parenting, Disney parks, single mother empowerment, teacher struggles, food and dining, family moments, musicals, Magical Disney vacations, and satire. Which..nope.  That about sums it up

  That’s an awesome algorithm @ei34! Stick with it. Back when I finally realized my ex was a narcissist, I must have googled it enough times because suddenly my FB feed (I don’t have ig) was FULL of self help narc reels. At first I loved the info and then was like… nah, I’m good. My fb reels are a lot of comedians, clothing boutiques, make up influencers, travel, “couple goals” cute couples, kids (yes, even though I’m childless they crack me up), and paranormal stories and shit. It keeps me very entertained. 

  Speaking of entertainment - go watch Michael!!!! Such a good movie. It shows his resilience (from his controlling father) and brilliance. That man was troubled - but a genius.

  There was a shooting about a block away from our house last night. The joys of where we live. I wish we could move. H was outside talking to our neighbor who had been victim to a hit and run on our street the same day, and we heard it. Most of the time it’s fire works but this time it was unmistakable. We all hustled inside and a few minutes later there were police everywhere. At least it was a quick response I guess. I haven’t been able to find any info on what the shooting was about and I think no one was injured because I haven’t seen any news about it so that’s good at least. 

  
  

  Otherwise SSDD. H’s loser brother texted him out of the blue yesterday asking him to help him move. I hope H doesn’t get in a funk by interacting with him. BIL C has the most toxic dark energy of almost anyone I’ve ever met. It’s so bad it feels like it sticks to you, like a physical substance you can’t scrub off. H feels obligated because he had previously offered but I wish he could have some better boundaries about it. We have some other important things going on and he can’t afford to get in a funk from BIL right now.
