Weekend was nice enough. Got a lot done but still managed down time. Our family movie night was Hoppers, a new Disney/Pixar, it was really well done and I recommend.

Pulled double duty this morning, was at my kids’ school extra early to help set up a breakfast for their faculty today, to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week. Thankfully made it to my own school in time. Dealing with a headache but otherwise okay.
  • I think M was just a little too young for Hoppers @ei34. We tried to see it in the theater a few weeks back and he was so excited about it. But got pretty scared at the part in the lab where the mayor and all the animals were- we left. We have a plan where anyone can say they want to leave at anytime and he did so we never saw the end!

Weekend was good here. M had his first t-ball practice! So wild to see him out there with a team learning to play!!

@charlotte989875 t-ball is so fun to watch. No one knows what the hell they’re doing, it’s hilarious.

Weekend was good. I wish I still had Mondays off though. Saturday I went to the gym with SIL and did a decent workout. I am definitely struggling with post-exertional malaise after COVID which I’ve had since the very first time but it just gets worse with every infection and I am just not bouncing back at all this time. I used to work a full day and then hike 8-12 miles no problem and now I am dust after a work day and a way less intensive workout. And it’s a drastic change within the past 3-5 years so I know it’s not just aging, and like, I’m also not that old (despite how I feel).

Otherwise it’s SSDD. I finally made the effort to clean out my car yesterday and did a mini detail. I hate doing it but I admit it looks so much better inside now. I didn’t wash the outside because it might rain today or tomorrow.

My cute 10 year old niece (cute but scared of her own shadow) told me she saw Hoppers. I’d love it, but I’d get scared, she told me. Ummm have we met?
speaking of getting scared lol, this weekend was a blast. The ghost conference is very interesting and they give the attendees a nice discount to stay at the most haunted hotel in the area. The only time I can afford the DeSoto.

I’m sure I’ve paid more for less, but it’s always a 2 night minimum. I liked it, but I think next year I need to find a new one to go to, to experience something new. And I have friends who won’t go on the investigations with me, but they will tag along and hit the city we’re at while I’m there.

My kids would've definitely be afraid of it at 5.5 @charlotte989875.  I was actually recommending it more for the adults lol.  Aww t-ball must be very cute and fun to watch, go M!

Glad it was a fun conference and enjoyable hotel stay @CharmedPam

Thanks for the tip on Hoppers! My guys saw a preview a few months ago and have been excited for it - but maybe we'll wait a bit. G is 6.5 but easily rattled by stuff in movies!
