Birdcage veil with all lace dress???

So my dress is all ivory lace, with a champagne sash:

The only kind of veils that I have found that I love are birdcage veils. I just don't know how one would look with an all lace dress!? Someone told me that it would be fine because they are both "vintage" but I'm still unsure. I also thought about a birdcage veil made of tulle?

Any suggestions or opinions would be fabulous! Thank you!

My personal opinion is that birdcage veils look better with short dress or really simple dresses. Your dress is really pretty. In my opinion it would look better with a more traditional veil.

I personally think you should get whatever you want, I think it would look fine. On another note, I am kind of over the bird cage veil....

I think it would look just fine. The tulle would give it a softer look that would probably pair better with the dress.

Have you tried on a birdcage veil with your dress to see how you like it? I wouldn't do it, because I feel like birdcage veils look better with simpler dresses. Your dress is vintage inspired, but it's vintage from a different era than a birdcage veil. With that said, you're the bride, and you can do whatever you want.

I think the veil depends on your height a little...I tried on traditional veils and they made me look even shorter than I am. What helped me make decisions was to take pictures wearing everything and then analyze them as if it were someone else in the picture.

I think it would look nice with a birdcage veil! DB also has this new veil its a blusher actually with the birdcage length, I'm going to try it on with my dress when I go in for my fitting

I love the dress and I love birdcage veils.

I don't have a problem with all the lace, but your elegant dress doesn't seem to "go" with the vintage-y style of a birdcage veil. It wouldn't look bad at all, but personally I think you'd be better off with a gorgeous and unique hairstyle with a veil.
