Where did you take your engagement photos??

We just picked a date with our photographer to take our engagement photos so we can get some pics in time to send out our save the dates reasonably early (lot of out of staters). So just curious where did you take your engagement photos?? Suggestions on what to wear? I've seen lots of links on colors and things, but did anything work particularly well for you?

    We did our pictures at Parker's River Beach in Yarmouth - they have a nice gazebo, a playground, lifeguard chair, jette....really a nice spot.  I know a lot of people go to Nobska Light house as well.

    So we have three maybe four ideas. Let me know what you think.

    1. Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich
    2. Cape Cod Canal trail in Buzzards Bay
    3. Beacon Hill in Boston
    4. Town Neck Boardwalk in Sandwich


    We're looking for a playful kind of vibe...but some more traditional to have in the long run as well. I'd love any suggestions on if we should go some where else, take some place off the list or if you think ones been over done! Thanks so much.

    We just did ours at Dowses Beach in Osterville. It was exactly what I had in mind. If your looking for a beach theme it was beautiful! We did tons of shots- walking in the water, in the sand, on the jetty, on the boardwalk, in the seagrass, etc. Good luck!

    We took ours at the Sandwich Boardwalk then we walked down to the beach. So many great places to take pictures there. That is where my Fiance first asked me out 7 years ago(haha kinda corney but it had meaning)

    good luck picking a place!
