Freaking out...yet again.

I scheduled my wedding in March at Red Rocks back in March of this year. My MIL is coming into town today and wanted to see the venue so I called on Monday to schedule something to go look again on Thursday.

The girl that was handling my wedding is no longer working there and has left NO RECORD of my wedding. I started to freak but then remembered my handy dandy contract.  NO LUCK.

My deposit was not due till July 17th and they took another wedding for my date that has already put down their deposit.

I am sooo screwed! Now I need a new venue! ~tear~

    Did you give your soon-to-be mother in law a HUGE hug for wanting to see the venue resulting in that phone call? So great that you found out now instead of much later.

    Sounds like you're looking for an outdoor location. Any new options your exploring?

    HOW TERRIBLE!!!  That makes me so sad to hear, Red Rocks is so amazing, I can't beleive that has happened to you.  At least you have until March, you have plenty of time to find another venue!  Check into Christie's of Genesee, right up the highway from Red Rocks and a gorgeous location.  They have a patio and can do indoor/outdoor ceremonies.  They are wonderful to work with and we can't wait for our wedding next month.  They handle so many things so that you're not stuck planning and handling everything and feeling crazy (like I did prior to finding Christie's).  They are pretty budget friendly as well, given what they provide for the price.  Good luck!

    wow.. so sorry.. that really bites. good thing you called to try to go see it again and found out now then like 2 weeks before the wedding.

    Sorry it took me so long to respond back... its ben crazy with the MIL in town. But at least she bought me a present! A Baby crib and bassinet---shame I am not preggers.

    Anyways I drove my butt to Red Rocks, the girl found the record of my wedding and said I am still good to go. But she was quite rude and seemed very put off. Now I am seriously considering my options as I draft her a letter!
