Well, I finally have been getting my butt in gear with the 182341234 DIY projects that were still left on my to-do list, and I'm happy to say I've actually gotten quite a bit done!

1. I changed out the ribbon on the pomanders I bought from afloral.com, and added a peacock feather.

2. I made all 9 boutonnieres: 6 GMs, 2 dads, and FI.

I still have a bunch left to do, but it makes me feel much better after crossing these things off the list! :)

    Wow everything looks great!!! Where did you get those curly feathers from?! I love them!! and your sash!! I have one but with black but I didn't even try to make it. just got it off etsy

    I actually curled the feather myself.  It's just like curling ribbon!  You use one side of a scissors and your thumb, and just pull the strands (i.e. the "flue") through.  The sash was SUPER easy...the rhinestone part came all as one piece, so all I had to do was cut the ribbon and glue on the sparkle (E6000 adhesive).  There were several sashes I loved from Etsy,  but I couldn't find one that I liked for less than $150.  This one still cost me almost $70 (that rhinestone thing was expensiveeeee), but that's way better than $150. :)
