Hey ladies
We did it. We are officially Mr. and Mrs. and it was truly the most special, tender, exciting day of my life. I still can't sleep just thinking about the ceremony, celebration and incredible party we had. We leave tomorrow for the honeymoon so I have a day to decompress and get everything ready for Maui.
We did have several things "go wrong" but in the end, it really didn't matter. My photographer is still not home but he sent a friend from Missouri (I think) that was supposed to be shooting in Ireland (he couldn't make it to his wedding) and Kym from f8 and Huy's assistant Anja were already scheduled to be there so we had three awesome photographers. I cannot wait to see photos. The ceremony at The Crow was breathtaking and The Starlight is such a fun venue. Everyone was having such a blast, we extended the reception from 5 to 6 hours and we could have gone longer. My feet still hurt from all of the dancing!
It's true what everyone says, soak it all up. It was the most amazing feeling to see John at the end of the aisle, with everyone we love surrounding us, and committing to each other. I will never forget the moment in our vows when John said, "Today I marry my best friend" and he completely choked up. Aw, I am crying now.
Much love to you ladies. It's amazing how rain and photographers in Russia and craziness at your reception site can not ruin your day if you are marrying your best friend.
