    My RSVP due by date is Monday. We're still waiting on maybe a dozen, mostly single people. I think they're still trying to figure out who they're bringing. I'll probably start calling/texting next Wednesday or so.

    Of 43 invitations sent out, we've received 21 RSVPs back so far.  They're still trickling in; the due date is May 15, and I know for a fact that most of my family will likely pop them in the mailbox ON May 15, so we'll wait a few days after (probably about a week) before contacting anyone.

    I am a bit curious how it'll go down.  :)  A room full of women I don't really know or never met (FMIL's guest list).  But, I know it's in my (and FI's) honor, so I truly appreciate the warm welcome to the family.

    penny, I was worried about my shower too. I knew everyone well but my family is very.. well, you hate em or you love em type people and very loud. FI's side is reserved and down to earth. They all got along great and had a blast, it was so much easier than I thought!

    Congrats on all your RSVPs. We still have 3 weeks til deadline.

    29 of my FI's relatives can't decide if they are coming or not...our RSVP date was over two weeks ago. They are ranchers and I'm pretty sure most of them won't be able to make it so I wish they'd just tell us that already.
