Labels for outer envelope

How do I use the Knots guest list manager to create labels for my invites?

Re: Labels for outer envelope

  • Not sure about TK guest list thing - but if you input your info into an Excel spreadsheet, you can use a mail merge to get that info into a Word document, and from there print DIRECTLY onto your envelopes. It looks so much better than labels, is cheaper, and no one will mistake your wedding invitations for junk mail :) Just use a nice font and a decent size text. Google mail merge tutorial and you'll find tons of help.
  • I agree with LeiselEB!  Printing the addresses directly on your envelopes looks much better than using labels -- and with mail merge it's so easy!  My fiance did the mail merge last night and we're going to start the printing this evening.
  • to answer your question, when you're looking at the list there's an option under "view summary" that will let you export to an excel spreadsheet. you can then customize that and use the mail merge.

but please! no labels! print them right on the envelope - it looks so much better and is not the pain in butt getting labels to look nice are.
  • Or handwrite them =)  however, we used our return address labels on our RSVP envelopes instead of writing our address on their a million times & trying to deal with a funky printer!
