Saturday vs. Sunday (vendor wise)

Hey everyone!!

Aside from venues having lower fees on Fridays and Sundays...does anyone know if other vendors also provide services for lower costs on Sundays...such as Dj, catering, floral, etc...I was just wondering in case we decide to change the date back to a Saturday. Thanks ladies!!

    I think it all depends on the vendors, but I haven't found any reduced cost with vendors for Sunday events versus Saturday events.  (Of course, by vendors I don't mean venue :) )

    Thanks again Hydrophile...I didn't think there would be any price differences either other than venues!! Wow, you are almost there huh...just a few weeks. What venue are you using..if you don't mind me asking?

    i know lots of vendors do offer price breaks for Sunday weddings. just ask them upfront so you can compare.

    And all of the vendors we are using (since we organized our wedding ourselves) didn't offer any Sunday discounts so I guess it depends on the vendors themselves.

    I had a DJ that offered me a discount because our wedding was on a Sunday & he didn't have the date booked. Other than that I haven't had any luck with things being cheaper other than the venue fee, I saved $1000 with it.

    Our wedding was on a Friday.  We were in a time crunch so many vendors we wanted were actually available.  No discounts though.  I wish!!
