Flowers

Corsages and Bouts

What is everyone doing in regards to flowers for parents and grandparents? Are you matching the bridal party or doing something different?

I was thinking about giving my FI and the groomsmen colored roses that match my bouquet and white roses for everyone else. But then I was thinking of maybe giving my parents roses in a color to match my bouquet and his parents and my grandparents white.

What does everyone think?

You can't go wrong with any of those choices.

I made ours so we made them to match what they were wearing.

We did white calla lilies for the grooms, purple callas for the groomsmen, and white roses for the dads/grandfathers/officiant. We did white spray roses for the mothers' and grandmother's corsages.

We're doing another wedding where the brides have 'team colors", so half of the bridesmaids are in one color, and the other half in a different color. And then the parents and grandparents will have white roses with ribbon accents corresponding to their bride's color.

Anyway you do it will look great, it just depends on your preference. It can be nice to have your family match your wedding party- but also nice to have them stand out.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback ladies! I'm still not 100% on what I am doing, but it's nice to know that other people have done it both ways that I was thinking of.
