    13 years apart falls into my "not tacky" category.  It doesn't necessarily make me happy though so I voted indifferent.

    Angry.  I fuckinghate baby showers.  Unless they are held in bars.  Otherwise, I am quick to decline and send a gift at 2x the value I would usually spend just as appreciation for not being required to attend.

    I'd like to hear from anyone who chooses angry. this is a self-serving poll and i kind of want to know why someone would be angry about it. i'm looking towards the area of the country where barbie might be sitting.  ;)

    Ditto 6. 13 years is a fairly large gap between kids and a lot of safety stuff has changed making whatever they did keep probably junk.

    Indifferent. I'm not *angry* that they're having another shower, but come on, now. 

    Of course, I'm uncomfortable with showers at all, and think that one is really all you should ever hope to get away with.

    I'm SS, because second showers honestly don't bother me that much.  One of my coworkers is expecting her second girl and we'll probably do something for her (her daughter is 3 or 4, I can't remember exactly) .  I can maybe see being irritated if the babies are close together and the parents re-register for the big ticket items, but I think a shower focused more on necessities would be nice.  Why not celebrate the arrival of a new baby, regardless of where they are in the birth order?  It doesn't have to be all gift-grabby.

    sorry to disappoint. i could care less.

    it might be a little "tacky" - but that's a pretty long time, and i doubt they would still have any baby stuff.

    this is not something that would make me irrationally angry, though.
