FI coming tgt!!! I can't wait- we haven't seen each other in a month.  It will be another weekend of running around trying to find a venue....but will be totally worth it!!

    Raangoli--- this is actually NYchica...I had to redo my account.  Yes- we are looking in NJ area!  Its a little hard since we have little kids (~ 20) that are <2yrs old who will be coming with our friends.  we are trying to keep our wedding ~ 175ppl.  We loved this one hall in south jersey but are thinking a hotel might be easier for our friends, so if their kids get fussy then they can take them to their room and not have to leave the wedding or reception...hence our dilemna!

    Oh duh! I remember you posted that you changed your screen name.

    We ended up having about 9 children that came, but only 2 were 3 years old or younger. The rest of the kids had a great time dancing and playing with one another. But I think you're on the right track with wanting to have it at a hotel so the parents can enjoy.

    For what it's worth, we had our wedding at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown NJ and they were very accomodating. The service was awesome and everything ran smoothly. I'd recommend them in a heart beat!

    Thanks Bells! We have looked at both Grand Marquis and Addison Park- not too many dates open and both venues needed a 300 guarantee for an indian wedding in sept/oct :(  I LOVED Addison Park.  We have made a couple of appts for friday and saturday..crossing my fingers!!
