Jello Shots...

Hey ladies, my co-bridesmaids and I went out and got all the supplies for our friend's bachelorette party that's coming up next friday. We got 2 mold trays for some *suggestively* shaped jello shots. It doesn't seem to me that there are enough molds to use up an entire packet of jello.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to having jello set quick while keeping the rest of the jello hot? ..or should I just go buy more molds... or should I just suck it up and only have about 20 shaped shots and have the rest be normal?

Halp!

Only make half a packet at a time? or buy some cheap plastic shot glasses, have some fun shaped and some regular. Also, the way I make my jello shots is make the jello recipe (mine is 2 cups hot water) then add an extra cup of vodka, so they are easy to slurp out of the cups, would you make your shaped ones extra set somehow?

You can melt Jello that has been set in the microwave, pour it again, and set again, as many time as you would like. I would fill the molds and pour the rest in a microwave safe container. Once the molds have set, pop them out and microwave the remaining Jello until it is completely melted. Repeat until you have used up all the Jello.

I actually do this at work all the time, hope this helps.
