Nay.......they are expensive to developn (if you have lots of tables) and usually don't come out well  Everyone these days bring their own cameras - ask them to upload to a photo share.

Nay- We are doing photo sharing cards, asking everyone to upload their digital images.

All the weddings I have been to with the disposable cameras, the little ones take them and empty the roll by taking pictures of the chair, table, etc. Or the adults take them and you get rude pictures. Like pp said, they are pretty expensive to develop if you don't have any quality photos on them. HTH!

totally agree with PP... an unnecessary expense with crappy quality pictures.  Like Melissa said, we're doing a photo share site where people can upload their pics.

Nay...digital is the way to go. I think disposable cameras are outdated now. Ditto with everyone else about the photo sharing site.

Well Im going against the grain and saying..YAY! If you get them developed by Clark..its about 4 bucks per camera for 24 exp. I dont mind the extra expense..I wont develop them all at once. Yeah some of the pictures will come out crappy..but not all of them!

Can you tell me more about the photo sharing site - that sounds like a great idea!  When are giving the photo sharing cards?
    What site are you using?

I'm using Picasa.  I created a special gmail account that people can use to log in and upload their pictures.  I got free business cards from Vistaprint that ask people to upload their pics if they took any at the wedding, and it lists the login (gmail acct) and password.  The cards came out really pretty, so I put them in our favor boxes.  Not all photo sites let you download pictures from them at full high res quality (like Kodak) so be sure that you can before you choose your site.

    Nay.

I did photosharing cards and made a site with shutterfly.  We got about 600 pictures, it was great.

Nay like ppl said they are expensive to get developed, and usually the pictures are crappy.  Ones that I have seen more often then not the people dont use the flash.

I am using photoshare cards also.  I created a group room using Shutterfly.

I'm using Shutterfly and make cards with our site and password from vistaprint.com

Another vote for a photo sharing site.  In addition to comments in PP, a photo sharing site is more eco-friendly than the disposable cameras.  Go green! :)

Nay! It's an extra expense and most won't even turn out to be of good quality. I definitely agree with the photo share cards. HTH! :0)

Nay!  We're doing a photosharing site too.  I'm going to display the cards on the tables in these little boxes I found at www.PicShareBoxes.com  The kit came with a template for making my own cards too.  Love them!!
