Inexpensive Videographer......?

At first, I was not interested in having a videographer and my FI and I are in love with a certain photographer that happens (of course) to be on the more expensive side, leaving the "left over" budget for that area minimal. Now after checking out my friends wedding videos and seeing what a videographer actually does and creates for couple, I'm really starting to think it would be an excellent idea to have one. :) Does anyone know of a inexpensive videographer that is still high quality, professional, and punctual? Thanks!!!

Check out True Video.  They have different packages for different price points that seriously work for any budget.  We're hired them for their hourly rate to tape our ceremony (we're on a tight budget).

We hired two students from Otterbien.  Anthony Gardner is the lead of the new buisness...

Here's a link to our montage he put together, the password is 'wedding'

We got 2 videographers for 9 hours (I think) for $500 - however he's like a little bit more now that he has a couple years of weddings under his belt.  But they are still students (till the end of spring) so I don't think they're charging too much yet.
They were very professional at the wedding and were almost hidden the whole day, but captured everything the whole day very well.

The only word of advice I have to share with these guys is that when we first met, our meeting had a different feel to it than most of our vendor meetings (ie with folks that have been in the wedding industry for years and years).  They are two young men that are still learning this girly industry, but they are really great with a camera and editing-they also use new HD cameras! (I hope this didn't come off too negatively, they're really great guys! )

**we were in the same boat... didn't want a videographer at first, then we thought about it, but wasn't in the budget, so then we found the students.  Now, I will stand on a soap box any day, if you only have a couple hundred, or a couple thousand, get someone to film your wedding day.  I've watched the video I don't know how many times and it makes me cry everytime - and I'm not a crier :)

I know I'm a little late to this convo, but I used Picture Perfect Portraits and they did an awesome job! I've mentioned them several times in response to other's photog questions, but only because they're so affordable and do a great job. I actually just posted my vendor reviews from my wedding also, so see that for more info.

Not sure if this will work, but here's a link to the "wedding music video" they put together for us: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6aSzMNZWKk
