Wedding Wine Stuffs

I don't know if anyone else here is a big fan of wine or DIY stuff for their weddings, but here are some things I came across on Pinterest that I was thinking about doing. Any thoughts? Anyone else thinking about doing these too? Just curious!

We spray painted some old wine and beer bottles different colors to mix in with our mason jars as centerpieces. I wasn't crazy about trying it out, but my mom insisted, and they turned out great!

I too used wine bottles, but I didn't spray paint them and just left them plain. I was pretty nonchalant about everything though, so it didn't bother me too much.

I love the names in wine corks. I have also seen the corks displayed vertically (rather than cutting them in half) to display the names as well (might save some time).

We got married at a winery, but didn't use corks or bottles in our decor. At first, that was the direction I was going, then pulled back a little bit to make sure I wasn't on wine overkill!

That said, my cake sat on a wine barrel, and our sign in table we built sat on two wine barrels. And, instead of having tall-boy type tables around the venue, we rented wine barrels and had guests use those as they were standing around for drinks, etc.

I do love the corks for guest names, but we didn't have assigned seating, just reserved tables and I made homemade wooden signs for each table that just said reserved.

Aeliza, that's a good idea with doing the corks vertical to save time!

Winechic, I was hoping you'd say something lol. The wine barrels sounds like a cool idea too, I bet it looked awesome in the winery setting too.
