Stop whinning about your life so much, people have it far off worse than you. Stop being mean to your mom because she won't let you use the car to go out with your friends she is just watching out for you.
Show your parents some respect, they want what's the best for you.
Get your head out of your @ss and realize nobody is invincible and that includes YOU!
The world does not revolve around you.
Get away from that boyfriend of yours, he's a bad news and your parents are 100% right to be worried.

Geez. Stay in school. What you want right now will mean nothing to you in a few years. Do your best and apply yourself. And also stay away from that boyfriend of yours! He is and always will be a loser.
Things will get better. Life does not begin and end with high school. There is so much ahead of you and you'll see that in 10 years, it won't matter who was the most popular girl in class, who had the nicest car or which crush wouldn't give you a second look.
Even though life gets harder, it gets so much better! High school will be completely meaningless, and once you get to college, everyone is kind of on the same playing field. Don't be afraid of taking risks or getting hurt, because you will always come out stronger after. Also, think about yourself and what YOU want, not what others want. You are the only person who can determine what makes you happy.
It's okay to get out of your bubble!! Go out & have fun! Don't worry about fitting in with people, just be you....You did great getting along with a lot of people, but don't try so hard! Go for what you want & believe in, don't let people hold you back! Really put more effort into science classes!
Being only six years removed from 16; im not sure what id say. Anybody got anything for 22?
I think i would say " set goals for yourself. As cliche as it sounds, the only limitations you have are the ones you set yourself. Pick a dream and chase it.Explore all your options. And take choir."
What seems like a big deal right now in a few years won't even matter. It won't matter which click you hung out with or didn't hang out with, no one will remember who the homecoming queen or quarterback off the football team was. It's not the end of the world if you have to stay home on Friday night. Don't let the things that happen to you now stay with you for so long bigger and better things will come along.
Stop being so shy, put yourself out there more. People think you're being a snob and that you think you're to good for them. Get out there and make more friends. Apply yourself more in school. When you go to college it's going to be a shock to you and don't drop out of college once you go.
When your 25 and that guy is interested in you, run don't walk in the other direction, he's going to screw you up way more than you deserve. He is not worth all the heartache. Pay attention there are other good guys interested in you, date, have fun, but wait for love. All those tears and prayers asking when and why not me are not worth it. The right guy will come along at the right time.
Tell your sister to put herself out there more. She needs to stop being a mother hen and get a life for herself too. Save as much money as you can, don't waste it on stupid things and people that will not be your friends unless you spend money on them. Start excercising now so that you can create healthy habits that will last throughout your life.
If you can't tell I would have told myself a lot of things. I've learned a lot in 13 years.
218 Invited 130 Are ready to party!! 79 Are missing out. 10 Are making me wait.
I had a pretty tough year when I was 16 due to several deaths in the family. I had pretty much lost a lot of my faith and it took me years to get it back. So I would tell myself that with time life does get better and no one can save you--you have to take initiative and save yourself.
"Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are."
I would have told myself not to take life so seriously and to have fun you are 16 not 30. Don't worry about all of the popular girls who are bitc*y by the time they are 30 they will be ugly and single.
At my sweet 16 I would have said don't be mad that your boyfriend was late because he decided to throw a keg party. Look over in the corner at your future husband having fun and dancing with your friends Eventhough you don't know it yet.
However, age 18-24 Kate was out of her mind. I would have told her to go to the college that YOU want to go to, don't major in business, and stop letting your mother control you or else she'll continue to control you until you're 28 years old.

Wow! That's a rough question. I'd probably feel the need to smack myself alot!
-Your mother does know what she's talking about and that boy is not the love of your life. -Don't follow your friends to college. And don't major in English Education. -Use your brain. -Buy stock in Facebook!
