Last night, BF and I were sitting in bed, both with our laptops. (We're totally interesting like that.)
And I told him about ThePlunge.
He gets on there, starts checking it out, and was laughing at a few things.
The articles are prettty funny.
He says: "This doesn't pertain to me. It's all stuff I know. I've had my proposal planned for like five months."
Ok. That's something I didn't know.
He says. "Yeah, I'm just waiting on getting the ring."
OH, and ThePlunge tells guys that TK rots our brains with wedding porn. Which is only like halfway true. It also wrecks our diets with potato recipes.
So, even though I did this like last week, any updates from you ladies?
Re: U/D for the Ladies
ThePlunge cracks me up - I like their spin on things. They have a schedule for the wedding day that is absolutely hilarious:

F*ck.
No new updates from me. Just enjoying the cool weather.
I'm going to toot my own horn here with my news. I was named Development Associate of the District for the year at my job! And on top of that, I am getting my biggest commissions check yet (it's more than my monthly salary!), so I am pretty excited about that.
Other than that, I asked BF to plan our VDay this year (I always plan everything) and I'm pretty sure he hasn't even thought about it at all yet. I am struggling to not make suggestions and just leave it in his hands (it was my idea, after all). I am a control freak, I know.

I know how you feel. My guy never plans anything either. Half the time he doesn't even know his work schedule for the next day. And he is the one who is supposed to schedule the flights! I guess thats why we work well together. I'm a total planner and he keeps me grounded and relaxed.
Nothing really too new here. However, I'm really looking forward to Saturday. My aunt and I are going to a parade in Minneapolis to meet up with my family (My aunt lives by my school, and she wanted to just come pick me up and bring me there) and FI is going to be there!!! I'm so excited. I will be coming back that night again, but just those few hours holding his hand is sooo exciting. I haven't seen him for a ltitle over 2 weeks now since I've been at school. And then he's coming up to my school to visit me next weeked to celebrate valentines day and I cant wait!

I got this text about a week ago:

“OMG!! YOU’RE NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS! THEY HAVE A MALE VERSION OF THE KNOT!! It’s appropriately named The Plunge. Don’t worry, I’m taking all the articles with a grain of salt.”

Like with you guys, it brought up the topic of proposals and I read him that one about the two musicians in the street.
BF: “Wow, he did a really great job.”
ME: “Yeah, he did good.”
BF: “Oh crap. There goes all my plans. Shite.”
Apparently ‘good’ was not enthusiastic enough. Opps.
BF seems pretty confident with whatever he is scheming.
I left it at that and just kissed him on the forehead. I'm not the kind to ruin surprises for myself, so I didn't dig.
But he might stop reading when they call bowling "depressing."
I haz a planning bio

Haha, that's hilarious! I have very low expectations for a proposal. He's really matter-of-fact and straight from the heart, so he's more likely to just do it casually one night in our messy kitchen than anything planned out. But I guess the low expectations means I could be pleasantly surprised!
She was covered in paint, working on a room in their new house. Hair in a ponytail, brush in one hand. He came home from work, still in his uniform, and said something along the lines of, 'Let's do this'... (In a cute manner, not grumpy.)
She was super excited to share, and still loves the story. It was really 'them'.
