Hi:
We're not looking to have the whole 'dancing' thing at our Chicago reception, but are looking to have background music. Anyone know of a DJ that would provide services for a reasonable price for a small venue? Most of those that we have found are quite expensive given that we're not looking for the full production.

    You might want to check out those "iPod DJs" - they provide the sound system, you provide the iPod with your pre-programmed music for a fraction of the cost.  Just google iPod DJ Chicago and you should get a couple of vendors.

    there is a company called 'just press play' or something like that who will set up and play your ipod for you.

    Check out some local music stores in your area to see if they rent any equipment. You may be able to rent some and hook an ipod up to that.
