NEY Fashion Police (help me pick)

Hi ladies!

So we just got through H's company party, and now mine is in a month. I need a little help accessorizing.

For background, the event is being held at a computer museum with apps and cocktails, and the invite says semi-formal.

I'm thinking of wearing this dress (it looks better on me than the hanger).

I have three pairs of shoe candidates. These purple ones I found at DSW today:

Bronze:

Black:

The purple and bronze pairs are the same height--3.25"--and the black ones are 3".

In addition, I would love some jewelry suggestions. Thank you!

I like the purple shoes the best. The black shoes would be my second choice. I think a pair of strappy silver sandals would look good, too, if you happened to have a pair.

I love the purple dress with the purple shoes. I would also do some sort of gold or burnished jewelry look. Maybe just big earrings because you have the cool strap and a pretty braclett

I'm with the masses, I think the purple shoes or the bronze shoes would look hot! I would also stay away from super large earrings and any necklace. The detail on the one shoulder is great, and more than enough around the neckline. I would go with fancy studs (do you have diamond or rhinestone studs?) or a very small dangler. Something delicate on the ear.

But you can also go for a fun bangle with this or a nice cocktall ring. I'd likely wear either on the arm that isn't the one shoulder just to balance out the outfit. Come back and post pictures of your hot self!!!!

Definitely bronze. The purple ones are super cute but I wouldn't wear them with a purple dress. And that dress is screaming for some strappy shoes.

I am in love with the dress and the purple shoes are fantastic! I think they would look great together but might look a little matchy. The bronze would be my 2nd choice, with bronze jewelery either way.

I think that a big bracelet or a cocktail ring would be perfect, since the shoulder on the dress makes such an awesome statement. I liked DanielKA's suggestion of fancy studs or small danglers for your ears.

Thanks ladies! I think I'm still a little torn between the purple and bronze. I worry purple plus purple is a little too matchy. I think I'll try things on tonight to get a better idea.

I love the idea of a statement bracelet. I bet I can find something at Icing or Kohls. The shoulder poof comes up pretty high, so I think I'll stick with smallish earrings, like a 1" dangle. I really can't remember what I wore with this dress in Vegas other than bronze wedges (which I figured were too casual for this event).

By the way, that dress was like $40 from Burlington. The selection is hit or miss, but I highly recommend it as a place to look when you need a cocktail dress. I didn't need a dress when I saw it, but I just loved it so much.

Purple shoes, they look more wintery than the strappy sandals. I can't tell what color/type of embellishment is on the shoes, but I'd try to get jewelry that goes with that.
