As this board implies, I'm a second time bride- first for my FI.  I post and chat with the local board where my wedding will be (Clearwater, FL area) but it's sometimes hard being in a different position then the first timers, i.e. priorities are different.  Glad to be here ladies!!!!

    Welcome!  I happen to consider the priorities being different from first-timers to be a good thing.  So many of the first timers seem to think that "tradition" is a set of rigid rules they must follow.  The encores seem to have a much better sense of perspective.

    Welcome Wendy!  You're absolutely right, we do have completely different priorities from the 1st timers.  As a result, this time around is so much more fun!  Congrats to you both, and happy planning!

    does any other 2nd time bride feel 'more in love' this time around?  i sure do - but i was 20 yrs old the first time & now i am 41.

    @ Kiki: I absolutely feel more in love this time around. FI and I knew we were meant to be together as soon as we started talking, before we had even met (we met online). It just clicked for us. It was like when ppl say when you know you just know.  1st time around was more out of necessity bc of being young and pregnant.  I couldn't be happier now!!

    Welcome and congratulations!!!

    I have always cared about and loved my FI since we were 15...  But being in love with him now, is the best ever!!!!!  He was the only man I wanted to marry but life had other ideas, but now here we are and I couldn't be happier!
