cocktail hour cocktail ideas?

Hey fellow juners I'm new to the board and will probably have a million questions since I'm pretty much DIYing the wedding and am not getting much help close to home, so I apologize ahead of time:)
 My question though is I need ideas for cocktails to serve at the wedding.  The thing is I'm not having a bartender and just having beer and I want another choice that people can serve themselves, something that can be premixed and put in a dispenser for guests to just fill up their glasses whenever they want. Something other than margaritas if possible. Thanks so much and I look forward to getting to know you wonderful people:)

    First off, welcome to the board! What is your date in June? We welcome the questions, so go ahead and ask away! If I was you I would probably do some sort of spiked punch and/or sangria. Other options: margaritas, mojitos, cosmos, etc.

    I'd do lemonade with rasberry vodka and float some frozen rasberries in the dispensers to make it look pretty. Nothing more refershing than lemonade on a summer day! Or spiked Arnold Palmers. Yum!

    </div><div>This!  I'm doing a peach lemonade cocktail at my wedding, and my caterer LOVES the idea!  I used to make it all the time in college (using lemonade mix and Bacardi Peach) and not only is it super easy to make, it tastes so good!</div>

    I was originally going to say something like sangria or margaritas but I love the idea of a spiked lemonade. cnf's idea sounds fantastic!

    Love the idea of spiked lemonade!! I'm not sure if you have a Garden Ridge near you, but that's where I got drink dispensers on the cheap to use for my wedding. I would caution against the dispensers that sit up on wire pedestals, as none of the ones I saw looked very sturdy (I had visions of a drunk guest knocking over 3 gallons of liquid). Also, I'd consider how you're going to keep the drinks cold. You can get dispensers that have a little section for ice to keep the container cold, or you could use the lemonade mix without liquor to make ice cubes, and put them directly in the mix. That way, you don't end up with a watered down cocktail.

    Loving the ideas above!  Sangria or lemonade and vodka...

    I will share what my cousin did, she had two of those frozen drink machines and one had a strawberry daquiri type slushy and the other had a pina colada slushy.

    Well thank ya very much! And my date is june 29 and I'm glad I'm not the only one starting so early planning, I thought I was rushing into it too soon but glad I can bounce ideas off people. I think my fam and friends are already tired of me talking about the wedding lol.
