Anyway, are any of you house hunting or plan to once you're married?

I house hunt online haha! We're just moving to a bigger apartment for right now and are planning to house hunt seriously after the wedding with hopes to buy a year or so after we get married.

FI and I want to move after we're married and use any money we get toward a down payment on a house :-) I've been stalking listings in the meantime, lol.

We currently live in a condo that I own as a joint investment with my dad, but most of my neighbors are unpleasant and super nosy. So much stupid drama goes down in our complex and we wanna GTFO.

Not yet because of the wedding. We plan on starting in the summer after the wedding hopefully. I dread it, FI and I want two different locations. I don't want a new development, because they tend to fall apart so fast, but older houses are most of the times, extreme fixer upers.

I had wanted to buy instead of having a big wedding, but FI really wanted it.

Unfortunately, no. We plan on living with my parents for awhile so that we can save up for a house.

Yes! I can not wait...we're renting a townhome now and our neighbors are kooky. Our lease will be up a month after we're married so we will start the hunt before. I'm sure I will be super stressed

Right now we are staying with my parents but plan on looking for an apartment once FI gets settled into his job, maybe house hunting after the wedding.

We were looking and even put a couple of offers in, but now we are holding off till after the wedding so we will have a down payment.

FI owns his condo now but getting tired of city living and having people living above and directly next to us. Plus we want both of us to be able to pick out a home together and both contribute. Hopefully, we will buy a house together shortly after we are married.

We're happy where we are right now. We've been living together for 3 years. We have a 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse... He owns, and after we get married, we'll add my name to the mortgage. Eventually, we'll look to buy a house, but we plan on staying put for at least another 3-5 years. It's big enough that we can start a family and stay there... It's certainly not ideal, but it works for us for now.

We currently rent a condo. I was hoping to buy a house before the wedding, but FI want to wait til after. We thought about buying a condo where we live now, but we want a yard when we have kids. We plan on starting a family within a year or so of the wedding, so it makes more sense to us to pick something we can grow into.

We rent right now, and I'm hoping that once FI is done a major project he is working on + a masters(2 years ish) we will move either overseas or to another city with better job potential for me (NY, DC, Boston). So, we will probably hold off buying a house for a really long time, since most of those places buying a house is crazy expensive.

We'll be apartment-hunting as soon as we find out where he's going for PA school, so sometime next Spring. The thought of not having a place by the time we get married is terrifying to me since being married and living apart or with our parents are not the best options.

We bought our house last year, but a lot of my engaged friends are already house hunting and quite a few are buying before the wedding!

Unfortunately, we are not going to buy a house until I finish pharmacy school in 2 years and know where I will be getting a residency/job, which could be anywhere. We live in an apartment now with another friend, and FI and I are going to move to a new apartment after the wedding.

My FI bought a house last June and we have lived there since then. Once we are married I will be added to it! I found a house I loved and he bought for me. Before he proposed he use to tell me this is better than any ring to show you I want to be with you forever. He seriously spoils me!
