This is my first crack at anything floral and my first time painting my own flowers. I think they look good, but I wanted some other opinions. I'd love constructive criticism, just please be nice!

    The shape of the bout is excellent, but in my honest opinion (and in no way trying to be rude), but I absolutely hate dyed or sprayed flowers.  I also hate when people spray flowers colors that they don't naturally come in.  My feeling is if you want to add in a touch of blue then use blue ribbon to wrap the stems of the bout instead of spraying a rose (which does not come in any shade of blue) blue.

    But, like I said, that is my personal preference and if you love them then that is all that should matter.

    I know it's definately not a rose color but I love them. I understand what you're saying though. I know they don't look natural. But I love the color! Thank you for your opinion (and for being tactful about it!).

    Everyone has an idea of what they want and what they like and don't like so when it comes to decor and flowers I say go with what you love.

    I guess the only reason why I feel so strongly about dyed/sprayed flowers is that I was a florist for 8 years so I just love natural flowers...but I guess I would feel the same way if I was a baker for years and someone said they were going to have a dunkin hines cake instead of having a made from scratch cake at their wedding LOL!

    But I really do think you did an excellent job putting them together!  Good luck with any other DIY projects...I did a lot for my wedding and they may take up a lot of time but I felt so proud seeing it all come together on the big day!
