Does anyone have any good places to take engagement photos in or around the St. Charles area. Downtown St. Louis just is not an option. Thanks in advance!

    main street or you could go to new town as well

    Ditto Sarahlyn... We did ours in Frontier Park and along Main Street.  The old buildings, cobble stone streets, river frong, and train depot all made excellent locations!

    We also did ours on Main Street, but our photographer also took us to Ameristar Casino Hotel. The lobby is gorgeous and there is an awesome courtyard area on the rooftop for pics. I had no idea how cool of a place it is until she took us there for pics. Another cool place would be any parks with playgrounds. Just having some shots of you guys playing around like kids would be really cute :)  Good luck!

    Did you have to get a permit or any special permission to get pix at Ameristar?

    No, she just walked us in and started taking pictures. To get up to the courtyard area on the rooftop, she asked the concierge if she could go up. He gave her a card to swipe in and out, and we were good to go. It was pretty fun posing in front of a bunch of people who are looking at you like you're crazy. It was awesome :)
