Winter Favors

So we are getting married December 15, 2012, which happens to also be our 5 year anniversayr :) My question is, I was thinking about doing a hot chocolate wedding favor (below) or if that is too tacky. What do you guys think? Have any other suggestions for winter favors?

I'm getting married this coming February and we're doing a similar favor...we're doing hot cocoa with mini marshmallows but they'll be in mini mason jars. I personally loved the idea when I first came across it and thought it was a very fitting favor for a winter wedding.

I'm actually doing that one myself- so I ALSO hope eveyone likes it. I think that DIY with ribbon looks better than getting those packages with your names on it.

i love it too:)  maybe if you know some of your guest don't drink hot chocolate you could make up little tea favours for them. You could just get a little Chinese take out box, put in some winter teas (mint, berry, gingerbread) and tie with ribbon.
