Hey ladies! and happy New Year!
I'd love to get your feedback on an idea that I have. I'm getting married in downtown Austin in June and I am super-excited to have a local feood truck vendor show up and distribute her 4-inch individual pies for our dessert. However, I was still hoping to have a "wedding cake" to cut just for the pictures.
But, since the cake won't actually be the dessert, I of course would not want to pay for the "regular" wedding cake price. So I was thinking about having a cake with some "fake" or styroforam layers. What do you think? Has anyonje ever heard of this? And if yes, does anyone know if a bakery here in Austin that would actually do this?
