Can anyone recommend any good bands for receptions? Both funktastic 5 and smooth groove have been recommended to me - has anyone experienced either of these two????

    Would help if we knew what kind of music you were listening to and how big of a group your interested in.

    My first go-to would be Go & Do. They have lots of great reviews on local musicians. http://qctimes.com/entertainment/

    Oh and just to throw a recommendation out there, I have a soft spot for Mommys Little Monster. They are rock-ish and have been together forever. Awesome group of guys who put on a great show.

    Well personally I love country music, but Im not really interested in a country band for our reception. I want a group that plays some rock and pop classics along with some new pop/ rock/ jazz as well.
