Tan or Spray Tan suggestions

Hey everyone,

So I am still going back and forth on tanning/skin cancering versus spray tanning for my wedding. I have been living in Dayton all summer and the apartment I was at had free tanning, so I have been going to the stand-up beds about 3 times a week for a month.

Now I'm back in C-bus until my wedding and I live sort of near Grandview/Victorian Village and need some suggestions on where to tan and/or look into spray tanning.

    For graduation, a lot of girls i went to school with Jolie Laide, on High St, by German Village, they looked great!! there was very pale skined girls that did it and they looked good, it did not make them look orange or extremely tan. They use to do 10 $ tuesday but idk if they still do that.

    Also it is a lady who spray you, so not a machine, so it is very even.

    I also recommend someone spray you, not a booth or machine. I got my spray tan at Muhka Spa in the Short North. I used them twice - for our e-pics and our wedding. They did a great job, they adjusted the color intensity based on my natural skin tone,and I looked very natural and even for over a week.

    I highly recommend getting spray tanned.  Not only will you have a nice healthy glow but your reducing your chances of skin cancer greatly.  And trust me, your skin will thank you for it when you get older.  My grandma was diagnosed with  skin cancer and her scars aren't pretty, and my aunt who is about ten years older is a glimpse into my future.  She has spots and leathery like skin and it only makes her look older.  I can't tell you not to go tanning but really weigh your options please.

    i used to go to Tan USA on Olentangy.  i got the cheapest monthly plan for just the super beds, it was super cheap, like less than $20 a month.
    I have been debating this as well.   I don't want to tan due to the skin cancer risk.  I stopped tanning after I had a weird mole removed.   I have never used spray tanning.  I'd like to try it out before the wedding.

    I'm a big fan of the airbrush tan. I got to Papillon Day Spa in the Hilton Hotel at Polaris for mine. Definitely test it out first. Once you get sprayed you have to wait 24 hours to shower. During that 24 hours you can rub off on your clothes. If your wedding is on a Saturday I would recommend getting it done as a practice on a Thursday and then wearing white clothes on Saturday to see what kind of rub off you get.

    I agree about testing it out, someone at work just did it and it make her have breakouts all over her skin, she said her skin is naturally a little oily and so it added to the problem. just FYI

    I got a spray tan for my college graduation a year ago and I LOVED it! I went to the Tan Mother in Gahanna. She can either come to your house or you can go to her. It is way cheaper to drive to her. I am a pale girl naturally, but I looked like I just got back from a vaca from the Carribean. I did  not look orange at all. The only downside to the spray tan is that it can rub off on your dress under your arms, but I am sure the lady can tell you what to do to prevent it.
