Bridal Luncheon help!

I need to start planning out my bridal luncheon for my BMs .  WHat are some good ideas to do for this?  I want it to be fun and relaxing.   I was thinking of doing a spa day but that could get pricey or maybe a nice brunch?   Any ideas would be so much help! I want to show them how much I appreciate everything they are doing!

  • I had a bridal luncheon at August and we did the price fixe lunch.  It was lots of fun.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do mine until the day of my wedding rehearsal, so we went to it shortly afterwards.

How much were you thinking about spending?  The tea at the Windsor Court is really nice.
  • I'm planning on taking a streetcar ride with my girls to Commander's Palace in the Garden District.   Classic NO, fantastic food and they have a Sat & Sun brunch, if you will be going on either of those days.  Then you can take a lovely stroll through the GD for a bit and check out all the homes we wish we had! ;)
  • I second Commander's. H and I always go when in town. We had our rehearsal brunch there on a Saturday. Even if you go during the week, lunch prices are pretty comparable to the brunch options. Brennan's and palace cafe are also good choices.
  • I third Commanders, but also add in Muriel's - great lunch specials and they offer brunch on weekends too!  And, Palace Cafe is excellent - we had our RD there and the service and food were amazing!!!
  • We are probably doing Commanders on the Friday before the wedding.  The off the menu lunch prices are pretty reasonable PLUS they have 25 cent martinis on Fridays!
  • We did brunch at Court of Two Sisters.  It's one of the only places I could find that did a daily jazz brunch.

  • We did brunch at Ralph's on the Park.  It was so fantastic.  We had a private room over looking the park.  We had a bloody Mary and mimosa bar. They were so accommodating. It was so perfect and not too pricey.
