I'm helping plan a wedding for a good friend who wants to have family friends do the catering. I spoke to Mellwood and I understand that they allow you to bring absolutely anything in that you want and doesn't have caterer restrictions. Can you tell me if there is any place else that does the same?

    We're having our reception at Shall We Dance in Anchorage...it's beautiful and they allow you to bring in your own caterer!

    Well she really likes Mellwood, the interior design is really cool. I'm just looking for plan b's for her at this point, if for whatever reason Mellwood doesn't work out.

    I believe University of Louisville and Caldwell House have an open catering policy.
