    Since I am a pasta nut here are two yummy recipes I use for sauce or if you are picky and call it gravy go ahead...I'm Italian and don't even call it that though lol

    Low Sugar Pumpkin Muffins:

    I found this to be  a very good low sugar pumpkin muffin recipe and have used it the last couple of years as my holiday dinner contribution:

    (I'm diabetic so wanted to find a low sugar recipe. This has only 1/4 cup real sugar. Instead of 2 or 3 cups like in most recipes or like others that use tons of sugar substitutes.)

    It uses the sugar, carrots, raisins and vanilla for sweetness.

    And I still have to try these but I hear they're awesome:

    Margarita cupacakes with key lime icing:
    · (18 1/4 ounce) box white cake mix (no pudding in the mix) · 1 (10 ounce) can frozen margarita mix, thawed (undiluted) · 3 egg whites · 2 tablespoons vegetable oil · 1 tablespoon grated lime zest FOR ICING·    8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened ·    1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened ·    2 tablespoons key lime juice ·    1 teaspoon key lime zest or lemon zest ·    4-5 cups confectioners' sugar 1.  In large bowl, combine cake mix, Margarita mix, egg whites and vegetable oil using electric mixer. 2.  Stir in lime zest; mix completely. 3.  Fill prepared pans 2/3 full. 4.  Bake according to box dirctions (usually 325 degrees - be sure to check box!) 22-24 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cupcake comes out clean. 5.  Cool in pan on cooling rack 5-8 minutes. 6.  Remove cupcakes from pan; cool completely. 7.  FOR ICING:. 8.  In large bowl, cream butter, cream cheese, juice and zest with electric mixer until light and fluffy. 9.  Add 4 cups confectioners' sugar, one cup at a time; continue beating until light and fluffy. 10.   If icing is too thin add additional confectioners' sugar 1 tablespoon at a time.

    here we go and midge its not crockpot! :)

    Anniversary Chicken

    2 Tbs vegetable oil
    6 skinless chicken breasts
    1/2 cup teriyaki marinating sauce
    1/2 cup Ranch dressing
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    3 scallions chopped (optional) i never seem to have them on hand
    Bacon bits
    Parsely for garnish

    Preheat oven to 350 º.  In large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add chicken breasts and saute 4-5 mins each side, until lightly browned.

    Place browned chicken in a 9x13 pan. Brush with teriyaki sauce then spoon on salad dressing. Sprinkle with cheese , scallions, parsley and bacon bits.

    Bake for 25-35 mins or until chicken is no longer pink.

    This is super yummy and i like to serve with mac n cheese!!!
