JEWISH BRIDES

Hey ladies!

I need some help!  My boss' son is having his barmitzvah on Saturday (Service starts at 10:00 am and reception to follow),  I have NO clue what to wear and have never been to one before.  I was thinking a black cocktail dress with a bolero for the service then just the dress for the reception.  Is this appropriate?  Do I need straps or sleeves on my dress?  I don't want to be too formal being that it is in the morning/early afternoon, but I also don't want to be disrespectful to the Temple or to their religion.  Please Help!!!  TIA

Something with sleeves would be good.

As long as you dont show a plunging  cleavage and thighs you will be fine. If you go with your Fi, he will have to wear (depends) a kippah upon entering the temple...HTH

That's perfect! Ideally, the bolero should cover your elbows, but if not, it's probably not even worth buying a different one. You're fine just wearing the dress during the party.

    Have fun!!
