confession

i'm still wearing a lot of my maternity clothes, especially at work.

i feel like I didn't get much (if any) wear out of them since Wolverine was so early, and they're comfy, yet professional. plus, since I am ~17lbs below my pre-preg weight, and some stuff is adjustable, they actually fit better than pre-preg clothes.

Still wearing my casual maternity pants.  They're just comfy, and the best way to hide the muffin top.  Too bad I borrowed them from a friend who's now pg herself.  Guess I need to get rid of that jello belly, give them back and squeeze back into my jeans :/

my pre-preg jeans are too big, and I'm too lazy/cheap to go buy new ones or a belt. I'm still trying to lose weight, so am trying to hold off shopping until I drop another size or so.

hellz, I wore my maternity jeans from Dexter until I literally wore a hole in them, including the 6 months between pregnancies (and another several weeks until the Desmond belly emerged).

I confess to still wearing a few shirts that are technically "maternity," but really there was no way I could have worn them toward the end.

ETA: Desmond is officially sixteen months old today. SIXTEEN MONTHS!

You know I'll approve of saving money by getting more use out of maternity clothes than just a few months.

i totally love my maternity dress pants.  i am sad that they are getting a little loose.  dress pants with an elastic waist -- they are like sansabelts for women.

Uh, I also wore my maternity pants WELL after DD was born.  I couldn't drop the weight.  I bought one pair of non maternity jeans in a bigger size and hated them and myself, so I went back to my comfy maternity wear.

I have 1 or 2 shirts I haven't moved to the basement yet...
I had to quit once people who didn't know I'd popped her out asked when she was due.

I ditched that maternity stuff the second I could. Granted, I really only wore maternity pants and a couple of tank tops. I think I had maybe 3 official "maternity" tops, and they didn't get too much wear. The way I was carrying allowed me to wear flowy tops, maternity jeans, and non maternity maxi dresses for my entire pregnancy, which was pretty awesome.

Also the fact that I dont have to dress up for work kept me from buying more maternity stuff.
