Bridal Show Question

I'm going to my first bridal show on Sunday and I was wondering what to expect.

My friends at work told me to take labels with my contact information on them for the drawings so I don't have to stand there and write them out.

Any other pointers?

I found out what vendors I really wanted to meet and went to them first. I agree with the labels.

The only downside I found- was that they sometimes sell your information to other companies.. So then your phone is flooded with calls from places/people you never even wanted to meet with.. :/   I enjoyed the one I went too (expect for that!) Loads of great ideas! Take pictures!!!

Labels are awesome and make it so much easier. If the Bridal SHow is giving out goodie bags to the first 100 brides, get there EARLY! They go fast.

Oh, if you haven't done so, make a separate wedding email. This will help a lot.

Don't get excited and jump the gun. When I went to my first one I saw a beautiful vintage dress I wanted to buy right then.. Luckily I had some sense because the theme of the wedding has changed like 5 times and it wouldn't make very much sense now.

I'm going too! See you there!!

The labels are wonderful! With the individual vendors, I don't really trust their raffles. The main/big raffles from the actual show are def legit though. When giving out your info, I suggest leaving out your phone number but providing your email. My phone rang for months claiming I won all these prizes...yet there was always a catch. Something to take into consideration.

I went to two bridal shows and I never used a vendor I found there... someone told me that if you're good and have business you wouldn't be renting out a booth at a bridal show! That's probably not true in all cases (I tasted Amici's at one and they are really popular!), but I kept looking anyways even after meeting all these options at the show.

Just like everyone said, my phone and email were clogged with wedding related inquiries for weeks after each show! Luckily, they are now dying down. Also, they probably see I'm getting married so soon so I don't need any additional services.

The good thing was that I did win a weekend stay at Grand Plaza (Which I used for my birthday last year!), and that made all the annoying phone calls worth it! =)
