Somewhat productive weekend here!

First dress fitting was done Saturday! My dress came in 1 month early so I was super excited, but super nervous! But I love it. Now I get to wait until Feb til my second fitting, which I need to find shoes before but Im having such a hard time finding the perfect shoe. I committed to three inch heels (wedges) to get my dress hemmed.

My flower girl picked out and ordered her dress! We were planning on waiting til January because she is growing like a weed, but during my fitting she picked out the cutest dress!

Flowers have been picked out. I totally went over budget, but it is worth it since I was going to do the DIY route, but I just dont want the pressure right before the wedding.

Guest list finalized finalized. We had a finalized list so we thought, but FI's dad wanted a few of his friends there, and since he hasnt asked for anything, and offered to pay for anything we need, (it will be our last resort, we are doing just fine, but hey, its nice to know we have a fall back plan other than credit cards!)

Bridal shower guest list done and sent to SIL.
Bach guest list done and sent to friends planning.

Photobooth info sent for designs!

On top of that, date night, Christmas party, laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping lol. busy busy! Good weekend overall!

I Finished my invitation design. Almost finished my card box. Did BM bouquets. Finished my shoes. Did some of the church decorations. Did the "I do" letters.

I plan on this week doing a lot since im off of work and out of school. I plan on addressing my invitations. Finishing my card box and finishing church decorations. Im pretty sure Ill think of more stuff I need to do.

You did do a lot this weekend. Good job!

1) got my jewelry and all my girls jewelry at macys -totally stumbled upon it while doing my Christmas shopping but its all done! Huge check for me!

2) went to check out the hotels that have shuttle agreement with our venue. went great and we loved the first one-they gave us a tour and showed us soem suites and we were like wow we could wake up our first morning as Mr and Mrs here (it was fun)! will be blocking rooms here

3)got some spray paint for one of my DIY projects with coupons from michaels

did not get stuff for card box as planned-i guess i dont have clear idea of what i want and i was so overwhelmed with all the stuff in Michaels that i had so much in my basket and wound up putting it all back. i will need to figure out exactly what i want and go with a picture this week

glad you girls had some progress too!

We got our website setup and did our invite design. Now I just have to letterpress them and assemble them. We didn't want them to get lost in the Christmas mail, so I'm hoping to get them out by 12/31. We also have the tuxes picked out. Next week I get to try out my favors by making chocolate caramels w/ sea salt. So much to do.

My mom just sent me an email saying that she likes a different vase better for our centerpieces-its bigger so it would double our budget. Ugh.

It only took 6 hours but our invites are assembled, addressed, stamped and ready to go now! I plan on sending them out right at the 10 week mark- the first week of January.

Well since my last update, I've gotten the following done (not all necessarily this weekend):

- All invitations are assembled and ready to go
- ordered my veil
- today I'm ordering my cardbox, guest book, pen and garter
- unbooked our honeymoon to Sandals and will book a new one this week (i'll post about this)
- bridal portrait scheduled
- dress pick up scheduled
- hair trial scheduled
- ordered stuff to make invitations for Stock the Bar party with my sister
- gathered a few price quotes for the RD

Unfortunately I had to let go of most of the wedding planning this weekend and finish Christmas shopping/ wrapping and CLEANING the house as we're going to be hosting my family for a night this week before we all head over to the extended family party close to our house.

However, similar to KH 2012, I was in Gap Outlet with my 30% off coupon on Saturday and stumbled across a white zip-up hoodie with white and silver (sorta sparkly) writing! Grabbed it on my way to the check-out & bought it for $15! As much as I'd rather not be advertising GAP on my wedding day/ in my pictures, I figure it's way more likely I'll wear it again and again after the wedding (unlike "Mrs. V___" or "Bride").... I can also leave it mostly unbuttoned so that the lettering isn't so in your face. Sometimes a small unexpected check is better than several intended checks!!

I have so much I want to get done this week, I barely even know where to begin! Just have to get through a few more days at work then I'll be focusing on the checklist big time!

-I got our invitations cut down (so we can put them into pocketfolds).

-I started working on boutonnieres. They are a pain in the butt and I'm still not sure I'll be able to pull them off.

-I finished the first round of Christmas shopping (the second round doesn't need to be done until Jan. 19).

-FI finally agreed on centerpieces. We've been going back and forth but I finally feel like I can meet with the florist and get a good idea of cost.

I wrapped all my Christmas presents so I can actually get to all my wedding stuff! FI has been told he WILL be helping me stuff invitations and put stickers on 3,000 Hersey Kisses over the next 2 weeks!

-bought 32 more glass jars for the favors (I buy these with 50% coupons from Michaels so I can only get one case at a time)
-got my second garter today in the mail!! yay!
-ordered my stamp for my invites
-bought my mom's wedding/christmas gift!
