Main Event as Vendor?

Hi - My venue recently gave me their list of preferred vendors and Main Event was listed for multiple categories (i.e. photography, dj, videography).  Has anyone used Main event - and if so, were you happy with them?  Thanks!!

I met with Main Event.  They do have all those services.  I didn't end up going with him because they were more than double the other DJ's I met with.  Sorry I can't be of more help but wanted to respond anyway.

I've heard nothing but great things about them and they also have a cool photo lounge. From what I know, Bobby is one of the best DJ's in the RI/New England scene...I've been to many weddings and the DJ most definitely makes or breaks the night. And I happen to really love Michelle's photo style.

I've seen all 3 of Main Event's services at numerous weddings.  All their services come with amazing skill & personality.

I've also experienced some weddings lately were the entertainment (NOT Main Event) was late, totally didn't understand the crowd or the bride and pretty much killed the party.  Considering your reception is the longest and most expensive part of the wedding, doesn't it make sense to spend a few more hundred dollars to get great entertainment?

Bobby is a great DJ and reads a crowd.  He brings excitement and energy to the party.  I also happen to love their Bose speakers.  Not bulky and ugly in the back of your pictures and really nice roomfilling Bose sound.

I agree with Dansbride.  I really love Michelle's pictures.  She gets everything---fun portraits, sexy snaps, details and great candids.  Don't know too much about video, but I'm sure it's great too.  One of my friend's used their Photolounge and it was a huge hit!

We decided last minute that we had to have a videographer, and they were still available! We used Michael and he was wonderful the day of the wedding. We talked a few days before to go over that day, things we wanted, etc. I didn't even notice he was there. I'm still waiting to get our video, so I can't say what it turned out like.
I did talk with Bobby a few times when we were looking and he was also great.

We just used main event for all 3. I havent seen any pix or video since it's only been 12 days but as of now I am very happy with there service. Living in Florida and planning a wedding long distance isnt always easy when I called Bobby for information he was actually inb Floirda about an hour away and offered on his vacation to meet with me. It ended up not working out between my work schedule and what not but the facted that he offered was AMAZING!!! I loved that I could do eveything online, the week before the wedding I recieved a phone call from all 3 of the people who were working my wedding to go over all the details. We can't wait till we get to see the final product but as of now I would HIGHLY  recommend them
