Hair/Makeup Trial! PIP

So today I went with my grandma and FMIL to pay the florist, talk with the cake baker, and for my hair/make up trial! I was so excited. The girl was great and so nice! She listened to what I wanted and what I didn't want. I gave her a very generous tip! She also said she would come out to us on the day of the wedding, for only $10/person she is styling! This would be $50 max (5 ladies).

We still haven't decided what to do yet, but what are your thoughts? Everyone drive to the salon (20 mins away) or have her come to us?

Dang is your hair really that long or do you have extensions?!

I vote come to you, especially if your photographer is planning on doing "getting ready" photos

Nope, that's all me! I've been growing it out for like 4 years though.

And yeah, I was wanting those shots. =D I just thought it'd be so nice for her to come to us and then we don't have to worry with driving around and whatnot. For at most $50 that seems worth it to me. She will just need her flat iron, curing irons (different size barrels), blow dryer (maybe?), products like hairspray, brushes/combs, makeup bag, and a crap ton of bobby pins! haha I have extra extension cords and power strips so we can accomodate all of her supplies. The church has a bathroom with a pretty big mirror so I think that would work out just fine. I guess I'm just a little worried about lighting?

I wouldn't worry too much about the lighting because she will make sure there's enough light for her to work with and then the photographer will adjust the camera settings to make sure the pictures come out great.

Love all the long curls, that's amazing your hair is so long!

awww I love it!! The curls look sooo pretty! And seriously $50??? geez you can't beat that especially if she is coming to you. I think I'm paying $50 just for the traveling fee so you are getting a good deal!

You look amazing!!! I would definitely have her come to you, I think having to have everyone go to her might be a little chaotic! Seriously, she did a great job, you look like a bride!

It is probably going to be me, my grandma, FMIL, and 2 BMs. My other 2 BMs and my other grandma are doing their own hair and makeup, so I'd like them to be able to be with me and the rest of us as we get ready. </div>

I agree with the other PP in having her come to you. The extra $50 is worth not having to worry about traffic, car arrangements or getting your hair messed up in the car ride back. It will only add stress to your day.

Seeing lovely long hair like yours makes me want long hair again! I've had it short so long that it's hard for me to even grow it out past my shoulder. Not that it doesn't grow. It actually grows really fast. I just always chop it off! I finally let it keep growing, but it won't be that that long. *sigh*
