Horse and Carriage

hello all!

we want a horse and carriage to pick us up at the end of our reception, but i'm totally lost trying to find a good vendor!

has anyone done this? any recommendations are welcome!

    Maybe if the forum here doesn't give you some suggestions from firsthand experience, your reception venue can recommend someone that their brides have worked with before?

    We used Royal Carriages and reserved the Saints carriage.  I set everything up through email.  Then they called on Thursday before the wedding to confirm everything.  At the end of our reception, the coordinator told us that the carriage was not there yet.  She called the emergency line for the company and left some nasty messages.  The carriage finally arrived, and the man apologized saying that he had a really hard time crossing Bourbon St.  I was just happy we were able to leave in the carriage as opposed to walking down the street to our hotel.

    I used Royal Carriages as well, and they were kinda sketchy. Everything ended up working out, but I was nervous before that.
