I almost bought that one. I chose a different one in the end because I liked the skirt a bit better and the beading on Emily seemed too contemporary for what our wedding concept, but looking back at the pics afterward I thought the Emily was more elegant on me.
Great pick! You will look fabulous.

I'm with Maggie, too... Jessica - and it was discontinued in October - got my order in just in time! It is a bit different than a lot of her other dresses.
(sample size was a little small - reason for no back shot - but you gotta love the corset backs!)
I love the way you're holding yourself (?) in the first pic. I don't know how to describe it, but they way you're holding your shoulders and face just make it clear you feel as amazing as you look in that dress.
Thanks Wrkn! There is just something about Maggie (my 2nd choice was Kay). I am not a size 6 - but she knows how to work with proportions - love that! I wanted to play off my shoulders and height (nearly 5'10") and the vertical beading in the dress is just perfect. I am barefoot in the dress - now to find cute low heels!

I am! I just went dress shopping yesterday and it is on order. I have not stopped thinking about it since I left the store! I want to wear it today! Maggie is a great option for plus-size brides. Her dresses are beautiful and well-priced, without all being the typical A-line they try and put plus-size brides in. Now that I have my dress, it finally feels like I am planning a wedding!
Re: Any Maggie Sottero brides out there??
Great pick! You will look fabulous.
I actually picked out 4 Maggie styles...and couldn't find them in any local stores. So i gave up...then last night I found Emily!! yay
Thanks!!
I was a Sottero and Midgley bride which is the more couture line. I loved my dress!
I saw pics of your dress in your bio - wow! very pretty!!!
I'm a Maggie bride also!! Mine is in ivory.
It looks so different from the model to me!

Maggie is the BEST!
Maggie Sottero Ellen here
I was almost a Maggie bride! A Private Label dress won out in the end, but I still love "Caleigha"...everyone has picked beautiful dresses!!
