Park Ridge Marriott reviews of hotel

My wedding is at the Rockleigh and one of the recommended hotels is the Park Ridge Marriott.  Anyone have their room block there?  Any reviews?  It is great because they include as many shuttles as necessary, but its their call.  I wanted to know if anyone had their room block here and if there were any issues with the shuttles, or anything else for that matter.  Thanks!

    I haven't, but they are near where I work and we use them (and their shuttles) for travelers all the time.  They do an excellent job and service has always been great.  I had heard a rumor some months back that this hotel was having financial trouble.  I never found out if that was true or where the rumor started, but you might want to ask as well as ensure that you're not left holding the bag if they close up.

    We went there & I don't know if the person was new or not but she told us she had to get permission from Boston to see if she could offer the free shuttle service to our location for the wedding. Also, the bridal suite they offered was extremely tiny so we decided to go with the the Woodcliff Lake Hilton which gave us a free shuttle with our block & we only have to book 10 rooms to get that even though we have a block of 30 rms for $119 per night & the suite is massive & great.

    Yea Boston is where the sales office is apparently.  When I first called to get info, I spoke to a lady in Boston.  We are going to see the Woodcliff in a few weeks.  Is it only one shuttle?  I believe they quoted me a higher price though- when is your wedding?  Is the suite complimentary?

    My wedding is 11/11/11 & the suite isn't comp'd but frankly for the number of runs the shuttle bus is doing paying for the suite isn't a problem, lol. I think it's 1 shuttle that we are getting but it seats 30+ people.

    The Woodcliff Lake Hilton also has a shuttle and the staff and food are always very good.  The hotel itself, though, is getting a little old and tired looking.  They've renovated the rooms over the past few years but the hotel still feels kinda old if you know what I mean.
