Grandview ballroom brides

I'm getting married at the Grandview next spring. We booked the ballroom which I absolutely love. I'm just concerned about the fact that the room is very red haha. The carpet/walls/etc all have deep burgundy through them. I think our wedding color is going to be navy blue and I really would love to have some brightly colored gerber daisies to bring some more color. I guess I'm just concerned if it's going to look funny/clash in that room? I'm probably overthinking, but if anyone has had a wedding there and wants to share their decor/centerpiece ideas, I'd definitely appreciate it!

    Its funny you say this I am actually getting married there in October, and literally since I booked the venue my mother has been bringing up this point. Because we are having a pink and brown wedding. My mother thinks the pink with the red will look terrible.. My opinion is that it will look fine no one is going to put their napkin on the floor think it doesn't match. You don't book a venue based on the carpet color.. or at least thats what i think lol.... I don't have any pictures yet but when I do I will be glad to share them with you!

    I'm getting married at the Grandview next summer, 2013 and that concern actually never crossed my mind. I suppose I didn't think about it because I know that we'll have some sort of uplighting and I think us brides really think about every little detail. All of the guests are definitely not going to think wow this room is too red. I plan on doing an aqua blue and yellow as my wedding colors so I think you should do whatever colors you want and def. don't worry about the room. The Ballroom is what I chose too and its so beautiful so I dont think you can go wrong with whatever you do in there to decorate.

    I was a Grandview Ballroom bride and this thought never crossed my mind once, but to calm your fears ever more- my colors were navy and light pink and everything looked fantastic! Let me know if you would like to see pictures! I can send you all of my shots.

    And by the way- The Grandview is above and beyond fantastic- I cannot stop raving!

    I was also a Grandview ballroom bride. Our colors were black and aqua, so they wouldn't necessarily clash with the red anyway, but they might not look the best together.  I really wouldn't worry about it. The room is so big, and it's more neutral than you think. I tried looking through my pictures to find one that would show the aqua with the red, and I really couldn't find one. All I know is the ballroom looked beautiful on my wedding day, and the Grandview was amazing!
