Bridgeport area hotels

I'm traveling through CT for part of my honeymoon and need a nice hotel in the Bridgeport area.  Could be more like West/New Haven area!

Thanks ladies!

The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Stratford, CT (which is right in between Bridgeport and Milford) is super nice. We had our RD there and stayed there as well. It's right off of the Merritt Parkway (Rt. 15) - Exit 53.

The Hampton Inn in Milford is right off of I-95 at Exit 36. You can see it from the highway. The Fairfield Inn in Milford is also right off of I-95 (Exit 35.) We took a look at both when we were looking for hotels for our guests to stay in - both are nice hotels and are reasonably priced.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Milford is right off of exit 40 on I-95. It's fairly new and I hear it's nice. It's also right by the Post Road, which has the mall and lots of restaurants.

Of the 4 I mentioned, the Homewood Suites by Hilton is definitely the nicest. http://homewoodsuites1.hilton.com/en_US/hw/hotel/BDRCTHW-Homewood-Suites-by-Hilton-Stratford-Connecticut/index.do

It's up a long driveway and sits on a hill. It's quiet and has nice views of surrounding areas. We stayed in a room that had a bedroom and then a separate living room and kitchen area. We paid $109/night.

We are using Springhill Suites by Marriott in Milford for our OOT guests, immediately off exit 35 on 95.

Trumbull Marriott is another popular one.

Holiday Inn in Bridgeport is REALLY nice, they just redid the whole thing.

I heard that this hotel is really nice. My MIL insisted on looking there when we were driving around checking out hotels, but we couldn't find it! I even grew up in that area of town, and I've never seen it.
